About Us

A hat can be practical, but it can also say quite a lot about the person wearing it. Goorin Bros. has spent more than a century exploring that idea. Founded in Pittsburgh in 1895, the family business began with a simple horse-drawn cart filled with hats and eventually developed into a modern American headwear brand with a strong San Francisco influence.

The brand's modern identity is especially visible through its trucker hats. Rather than treating the trucker as a basic utility cap, Goorin Bros. uses the silhouette as a canvas for animals, graphics, colors and playful phrases. The Farm collection has become a defining part of this approach, with designs such as The GOAT, The King Lion, The Lone Wolf and The White Tiger.

A typical Goorin trucker features a structured front, curved brim, mesh back and snap closure. The construction gives the hats a familiar casual shape while leaving plenty of room for the distinctive patches and graphics that make individual designs recognizable.

For customers looking for something more traditional, Goorin Bros. also maintains collections of fedoras, flat caps and Papa Caps. Its fit guide describes the Fedora as a modern interpretation of a traditional silhouette, while the Papa Cap uses a softer crown for a more relaxed appearance.

Material choices are equally varied. The current assortment includes cotton, mesh, denim, wool, leather, suede, linen and other materials across different collections. This allows Goorin Bros. to cover everything from lightweight casual caps to more structured and elevated headwear.

The result is a brand with an unusually recognizable approach to hats: historic enough to carry more than a century of hatmaking heritage, but playful enough to treat headwear as a form of self-expression.
